Parnaíba artist will participate in the International Graffiti Festival
Festival brings together artists from various regions of Brazil and Latin America and takes place in December
The plastic artist Frank Cunha, from Parnaíba, will participate in the International Graffiti Festival ORIGAFFES (Original Graffiti Espírito Santo). The festival brings together artists from various regions of Brazil and Latin America, and adds other arts from the hip-hop universe, such as music and dance. The 2023 edition will take place between December 15 and 17 in Serra (ES), near Feu Rosa.
The event will be collaborative paintings executed by more than 200 artists from all regions of Brazil in public and private spaces, creating a dialogue and exchange between the participants and also between the people who transit the urban space. The festival also features a week of activities such as workshops and training and reflection sessions, as well as presentations of music and other cultural attractions.
Frank Cunha is an artist who travels through various fields other than graffiti, such as tattoos, theater, circus art and music. Working with visual arts since 2014, he held his first exhibition in 2016 at SESC Caixeiral, entitled 'Floresta Nua'.
Frank told Conecta Piauí that he had expectations of expanding his knowledge and generating more visibility for the art produced off the Piauí coast. "I hope that the festival gains more visibility for my work and for the Parnaiban artistic scene, mainly in the area of graffiti art. I also hope to bring new people and techniques, once the event has more than 270 artists in the area and many other two "There are so many movements, like dance and music," declares the artist.
