Elser Hotel Bets on Latin American Art to Integrate Architecture and Design in Miami
With a curatorship focused on works that dialogue with urban aesthetics, the project consolidates itself as a cultural reference during Miami Art Week

In Miami, art transcends museums and galleries – it covers facades, occupies public spaces and merges with architecture. During Art Basel, Design Miami and fairs such as Untitled Art and NADA Miami, the city transforms itself into a global epicenter, connecting collectors, curators and artists in a circuit that spreads through Downtown, Wynwood and the Design District. This fusion of art and architecture takes shape at Elser Hotel & Residences, where design and lifestyle intertwine.

The 49-story tower, designed by Sieger Suarez Architects, reflects Downtown in its glass surfaces and vertical lines. In the lobby, amidst neutral tones and natural textures, art takes center stage. The mural by Venezuelan artist Paul Amundarain takes up an entire wall, its layers contrasting with the light in the space. His work combines fragments of images printed on aluminum and paint, breaking down urban landscapes and reflecting the overlapping times and realities of large cities. With works in collections in the United States and Latin America, he translates this fusion between industrial art and the energy of Latin American metropolises at Elser.
