These are the three exhibitions that stand out at MACA
The Atchugarry Museum of Contemporary Art (MACA) inaugurated a series of exhibitions that brings together important international artists. Visitors can enjoy three shows that cover different disciplines of contemporary art.
The first exhibition, *Pablo Atchugarry: Color in my life*, will be available until September 18 and marks the return of the Uruguayan sculptor to painting after fifty years of sculpture. Throughout this exhibition, Atchugarry presents a selection of works in which he explores the use of color, a technique that has accompanied his artistic production since his early years.
In parallel, and until February 9, the museum presents the exhibition *John Baldessari: The end of the line*, a retrospective of the American conceptual artist, in collaboration with the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA). This is the first time that a panoramic exhibition of Baldessari has been held in South America, highlighting his influential work that ranges from photography to painting, collage and other media.
Finally, MACA is presenting, until April 15, *Anthony Caro: Sculpture as Composition*, an exhibition dedicated to the British sculptor on the centenary of his birth. The exhibition brings together a selection of sculptures and drawings that reflect his innovative approach to sculpture in space, with a minimalist language that has left a mark on the history of contemporary art.
