The renowned plastic artist from Catamarca (Aegentina) Raúl Guzmán, inaugurates his new exhibition, titled "Confrontación 24". The opening of this exhibition will take place today, Friday the 21st, at 8 p.m., in the cultural space of the Amerian Hotel, located at República 347.
This exhibition is made up of 12 unpublished works created this year, using a variety of techniques, such as acrylic, pastel and inks. In each piece, the drawing and color stand out, showing Guzmán's versatility and mastery.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Municipality of the capital, will be open to the public free of charge from today until the end of July.
Raúl Guzmán is a multifaceted artist, recognized for his work as a draftsman, painter, sculptor, monumentalist and muralist. With more than fifty years of experience, he has left a deep mark on the cultural scene, especially in Catamarca, where he is considered the greatest exponent of public art.
Among his most notable works are the Monument and Plaza de El Aborigen in Valle Viejo, the Monument to Pachamama in Santa María, and the Monument to El Fuerte at the entrance to Andalgalá, which are part of the artistic heritage of several cities. both in the province and in the country, including in other countries.
Last year, Guzmán celebrated his five decades dedicated to art with various exhibitions, highlighting his contribution to Latin American art, inspired by pre-Columbian cultures.
