Cultural agenda of events from August 7 to 13

The schedule of activities of the Córdoba Cultura Agency proposes various events to enjoy local artists. Each week there is a large program that can also be consulted at cultura.cba.gov.ar.

This week highlights the opening of a new batch of shows at the Chateau CAC Contemporary Art Center. On Wednesday 9 at 7:00 p.m., its rooms will house Contrapunto, works by four artists: Sara Galiasso, Nina Molina, José Benito and Diego Arrascaeta, who propose various possibilities, giving rise to a renewed aesthetic experience.

Meanwhile, on Thursday 10 at 7:00 p.m., in the room of the renovated Cine Arte Córdoba, a tribute will be held to the choral director and arranger Hugo De la Vega. The activity will count with the presence of the teacher and mentor of several generations of Cordovan singers and choir singers. Then, the documentary Dos manos todas las voces by the Córdoba director Leopoldo Obligado will be screened.

The House of Culture of the city of Río Cuarto renews its rooms and opens three new exhibitions. On the one hand, The artist's eye as a microscope. Daniela Pölten's project with drawings with a variety of techniques and materials. On the other hand, Detener la mirada, a series of drawings and engravings by Nicolás Abal. and in the Treasure Room, belonging to the heritage of the Municipal Museum of Río Cuarto, a painting by the artist Enrique Gandolfo will be exhibited.

Finally, on Friday the 11th at 8:00 p.m. at the Teatro Real, the Cordobesa Comedy premieres the play Señor Puntila y la servanta de él Matti with the direction of the prestigious Director Marcelo Lombardero. The dramatic fiction, popular comedy by Bertolt Brecht, will have two performances on Saturday, August 12 and 26 at the same time.
