Installation of one of the largest murals in Latin America

One of the largest art murals in Latin America will be installed in Goiânia, Brazil
Artist Ananda Nahú will install one of the largest murals in Latin America in Goiânia. The artist was invited by the Flamboyant Group to create an intervention that represents Goiânia and the state's culture on the façade of the group's new gallery. The open-air work also includes a 360-degree installation with canvases with elements that evoke traits of Goiás' culture.

“The exclusive work we are developing in Goiânia is designed to celebrate this diversity of values. My art defends the purpose of representing elements that create a connection with each city. We want people to feel at home when they see the mural, because the references are from the state,” explains the artist.

The design of the work evokes elements such as sunsets, fertile land and the state's natural riches. The warm tones, ranging from red to gold, represent both natural characteristics of Goiás, such as vegetation, and cultural characteristics, such as crafts. The tarps that will be installed later aim to give movement to the work, in addition to making reference to the growing fashion industry in Goiás.

Part of Ananda Nahú's work can already be seen at Avenida Deputado Jamel Cecílio, number 3,300, in Jardim Goiás, in front of the shopping mall of the group of the same name.
