Art Gallery of the Peruvian Embassy in the United States hosts “Pop Syncretism” exhibition
Exhibition by Peruvian artist Rafael Lanfranco celebrates Peruvian heritage through contemporary art.
On January 16, in Washington D.C., the “Pop Syncretism” exhibition was inaugurated at the Art Gallery of the Peruvian Embassy in the United States, as part of its visual arts exhibition program. The work of Peruvian artist Rafael Lanfranco reflects the fusion of tradition and pop culture, and celebrates Peruvian heritage through contemporary art.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by more than eighty people, including officials from the U.S. government, the diplomatic corps, academia, and businessmen based in the capital of the United States, who enjoyed Rafael’s art and recognized the quality of the exhibition, intended to highlight our multiculturalism and mega diversity.
The presentation also included a representative sample of national gastronomy. “Pop Syncretism” will be open until March 21 and can be visited at the Embassy headquarters from Monday to Friday.
