Artist Maria Nepomuceno's "cosmic explosion" occupies the Artium Institute on display with colorful pieces of different formats, which refer to an organism, simulating arteries, veins, vulvas and phallic shapes. Made with wood, ceramics and straw using manufacturing techniques, they were developed especially for that space.

Cao Fei: The Future Is Not a Dream
The Chinese artist's first solo show in Latin America brings four works that reflect on the impacts of the use of technology in 21st century society. Fei's art is made for the internet and in supports such as films and video installations. The exhibition goes through the following axes: manufacturing and globalization; past and present of the virtual world; memories of socialism and sci-fi; urbanization and dystopia.

Mirella Ricciardi: Homage to the Peoples of the Amazon
The unprecedented exhibition presents the works of the Italian-Kenyan photographer, who is now 92 years old. There are 47 images produced by her in 1990, during her trips to indigenous communities in the Amazon. The curatorship is carried out by Mirella's daughter, Amina Ricciardi, who spent 15 years cataloging and digitizing her mother's materials.

New Power: Passability, Miss Brazil
The series of paintings that Maxwell Alexandre made on brown paper continues with images of black people on a white cube, related to the concept of passability —that is, walking safely and unnoticed in public space—in the art world. The people portrayed adopt a mocking posture; others reflect everyday life, like a lady in a flowered skirt and students.

Sonia Gomes: Symphony of Colors
The installation is made up of 34 cords, of various colors and sizes, suspended at different heights. They are woven by the artist from fabrics, lines, threads, with techniques such as weaving, embroidery and sewing. The works also carry memory, as they are made with curtains, dresses and fabrics that people leave in the artist's studio.

The career of ORLAN, a French artist who addresses themes such as feminism in her work, is revisited in this, her first exhibition in South America. The show contains photographs, videos and sculptures, as well as performances and ORLANoide, a robot by the artist. made up of Artificial Intelligence, which can interact with the public.
