International Contemporary Art Fair, Ch.ACO 2025 Continues This Weekend
This Thursday, Santiago Governor Claudio Orrego, Ch.ACO Executive Director Elodie Fulton, and Alejandra Martí, Executive Director of GAM, launched the fifteenth edition of the International Contemporary Art Fair.
The event runs for four days, ending Sunday, March 30, and features the participation of prominent national artists and studios, as well as major international exponents, consolidating the event as a leading fair in Latin America with 200 exhibitors and 40 galleries.
This year, and for the second consecutive time, it is being held at the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center (GAM), delivering a strong message of recovery for the city center and the Nueva Alameda.
“For the Santiago Government, the Ch.ACO fair is a very important event, as it brings together many of our initiatives, such as the Nueva Alameda project, equity for the city, tourism, and Santiago as the capital of art, and finally, promoting the creative economy,” Governor Orrego emphasized.
For her part, the president of the Metropolitan Regional Council's Education and Culture Committee, Nebbia Otárola, mentioned that the Regional Council “is very happy to be part of the democratization of art and culture.”
The fair features a selection of national and international galleries, in addition to the Art Projects section, a curated section called Public Policies: Things That Are Not a Country, and The Improbable Store, a space dedicated to design.
