Latin American International Graffiti Festival

Latin American International Graffiti Festival

International Graffiti Festival will bring together artists from Capixaba and Latin America in Serra

Serra will breathe art in December with the sixth edition of the Origraffes Festival that will take place between the 15th, 16th and 17th, on the central square of the Feu Rosa bairro, with actions of collective painting (graffiti), MC battles and breaking, slam of poetry, musical attractions and skate championship. The event will feature the participation of hundreds of artists, including from Colombia and Chile.

Origraffes have graffiti as the central hub of the event. Residents, public and private organizations, authorize the carrying out of collective painting on their walls, transforming the bairro in a real gallery to a space open in a space of 72 hours and a radius of 3km starting from the central square of Feu Rosa.

This year, there were more than 700 urban artists registered, with 263 graffiti artists selected from three Latin American countries – Brazil, Colombia and Chile. The curator was created by iÁ Estúdio, director of the festival, focusing on the aesthetic diversity of graffiti artists, with the aim of building exchanges between urban art, the periphery and the festival public.

The program, completely free, takes place throughout the entire day, starting in the morning, at 9 a.m., ending at 11 p.m., bringing together various niche artistic expressions.
The event is sponsored by ES Gás and EDP, made possible by the Lei de Incentivo à Cultura Capixaba (LICC), by the Secretariat of Culture (Secult), with the partnership of the Prefeitura Municipal da Serra, Associação de Moradores de Feu Rosa, E.E.E.F.M. Marinete de Souza Lira, Maely Mídia OOH, Renove Colchões, Grupo Coroa, Tekbond Saint-Gobain and Cine Metrópolis with the Secretary of Culture of Ufes.
