The organizers of this 43rd edition have reserved the first three days exclusively for professionals, and starting at 3:00 p.m. on Friday the 8th, it will open its doors to the public. As usual, the Kings of Spain are also expected to preside over the official inauguration this Wednesday, March 6, at 6:00 p.m.

Of its three curated sections, it is known that it includes as a 2024 research theme, 'the shore, the tide, the current: an oceanic Caribbean' which, curated by Carla Acevedo-Yates and Sara Hermann Morera, proposes, based on a careful selection of artists and galleries, a reading of the complex intersection between the land and this sea that arises from and to the shore as a space of exchange and constant instability: "intervene in the discomfort of placing oneself between the liquid and the solid" , as the commissioners point out. Galán, Arantza Ozaeta and Álvaro Martín Fidalgo, 19 galleries will participate, such as David Castillo, Hutchinson Modern & Contemporary, Monique Meloche, Patron, Praise Shadows Art Gallery, Tern Gallery, Espacio Mínimo or Helga de Alvear.
