Display of Cuban art in Havana galleries

Cuba. The fifth edition of HB. The Contemporary Cuban Art Exhibition will be inaugurated simultaneously next Tuesday in the Habana, La Acacia, Servando and La Nave galleries, plus the Sarrá Building in Old Havana.

Jorge Alfonso, director of the company Génesis, Galerías de Arte, recalled the background of the event, associated with the Havana Biennial, which is now being resumed to systematize it autonomously, as a showcase of current Cuban art.

More than a hundred creators will be represented, residing in Cuba or other countries, from emerging ones and those who are already building an interesting path, to those recognized as masters.

The director highlighted the collaboration between the Génesis company, Art Galleries, the International Press Center attached to the Foreign Ministry and the Havana Club International Rum Museum for the promotion of Cuban art in its spaces.
