ALA Projects Expands Access to Latin American Art with Virtual Exhibitions
ALA Projects opens its first exhibition of the year, Andrea Grau: Liminal Blues, a virtual exhibition accessible online, reaffirming its mission to expand access to Latin American art.

Founded by Cuban-American curator Amanda García, with deep ties to Quisqueya after growing up on the island, ALA Projects is an innovative platform dedicated to strengthening the representation of Latin American and diaspora artists.

ALA Projects connects artists with global audiences through virtual and physical exhibitions, offering new opportunities to access and acquire art without geographical barriers.

As part of this mission, ALA Projects presents Andrea Grau: Liminal Blues, a virtual exhibition that brings together works by the prominent emerging Peruvian artist. This exhibition is a reflection of ALA's innovative hybrid model, integrating digital strategies with in-person events to respond to the growing trend of art acquisitions through virtual platforms.

In recent years, this market has shown sustained growth, reaching $11.8 billion in online sales in 2023 (Forbes Mexico, 2023).
Liminal Blues explores the ambiguity of liminal spaces through Grau's distinctive pictorial language, where time and memory overlap in layers of color, texture, and expressive gestures. In this new series, the artist immerses herself in a palette of deep blues and subtle nuances, evoking the fluidity of constantly shifting emotional states. Her compositions invite the viewer to inhabit a threshold between the real and the imagined, the tangible and the ephemeral.

The exhibition is available on the ALA Projects website and on Artsy, where the works are also available for purchase. We invite you to explore the exhibition and discover Andrea Grau's work, as well as on the ALA! website.
