In April, the Art for Adults (APM) program at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON), aimed at audiences over 60 years old, is proposing a special event: an artistic sculpture laboratory. The activity will be held on the 24th, from 2 pm to 5 pm, in the Workshop Space, located in the basement of the Museum.
In the “Sculpting the Void” laboratory, the starting point will be emptiness, silence and blank paper to create and will be catalysts for the imagination. The activity will be led by the MON Educational team and, together, they will be able to see these empty spaces as a potential to house an infinity of creative processes, especially within the field of three-dimensional creations.
The award-winning Art for Adults, offered by MON since 2014, is an educational program that provides audiences over 60 years old with awareness of art and through art. The initiative promotes in-person and virtual meetings, guided visits to the exhibition hall, artistic experience activities and integration dynamics.
Participation in the APM program is free and people over 60 years of age have free entry to the MON. However, advance registration is required, which must be completed using the form below or here.
