Art and Culture Guide: week of January 31 to February 7
A complete and varied agenda with cultural proposals to enjoy every day of this summer
The Leonardo Favio Cultural Center Museum invites you to visit the exhibition Carlos Pérez Turco: Retrospective, works 1954-2024. The exhibition is accompanied by a proposal prepared by the museum's education team that offers guided tours, workshops and activities.
190 works make up this exhibition and, at first glance, it may seem like a lot. But they are a selection, a curatorial choice that will try to highlight the indivisible link between the artist, history, his work and the neighborhood.
The artist will be giving tours on January 10 and 25 at 6 p.m. This activity is free and does not require registration.
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m. More information: Contact email: ccleonardofavio@lanus.gob.ar. This exhibition will be on display until February 28 inclusive.

A fire will not be enough for all this
First individual exhibition by Emiliano Guerresi. Fifty works with which the young artist builds a chronicle of the territory he inhabits and travels: the south of the suburbs. Discarded objects, such as metal caps, beer caps and wood, are used as supports for small-format paintings. In them, axes such as childhood, popular cults and social struggles come together in an imaginary of their own that gives rise to scenes full of intimacy and introspection. The exhibition can be visited until Sunday, February 16, on the third floor and in the window space of the House.

Mural by the Asfixia Collective
An initiative by young Argentine artists, which is framed within contemporary urban art. The proposal, loaded with powerful visual poetry, manages its message through a graphic language based on drawing and writing, characterized by the use of vibrant colors, typography, laser prints and silkscreen illustrations. The work is initially presented as a trigger for a participatory work by those viewers who wish to intervene in future activations. This powerful work, a collective mural by the ASFIXIA group, is on display in the Casa's courtyard until February 23. ASFIXIA are: Luna Bordenave, Graciela Wahnish, Juan Ignacio Digrazia, Melina Michel.
