On October 25, the Consulate General of Peru in Dubai attended the opening of the Peruvian and Latin American art exhibition at the Chaka art gallery, run by fellow countryman Paulo Galdós and his wife Ana Liz Cordero.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the United Arab Emirates, the season entitled "Dreams" and "Echoes of Identity" is a cultural space that seeks to highlight Peruvian art from the coast, mountains and jungle in its various facets, as well as Latin American art.
During the inauguration, Amazonian art was valued through looms and the manufacture of various textile products, as well as paintings and sculptures by Peruvian artists, with the aim of spreading our cultural expressions.
The art exhibition will remain open until November 25 at the Chaka art gallery. However, the cultural space will remain open for one year at house 40 in the Al Fahidi Historic District, in Dubai's historic city centre.
