The Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture, through Impulso Cultural, opened from Monday until August 21 the call for Patronage 2023, the City's financing program that, for 15 years, has provided greater support to projects from the articulation of the public and private sectors.
Independent artists from the City, or who develop their initiative in the Buenos Aires territory, may apply. They can be cultural entities or associations; musicians; dancers; choreographers; directors; authors; writers; artisans; cultural managers; architects; producers; filmmakers; audiovisual producers; actors; teachers; singers; researchers; private or public organizations or institutions and artists with a long trajectory.
The participating projects must be framed in one of the following 14 disciplines:
Dance
visual arts
Audiovisual arts and digital art
Theater
Circus, murga, mime and the like
Literature
Crafts and folk art
Design
Popular music
academic music
Cultural heritage
Publications, radio, television and Internet sites with artistic and cultural content
Infrastructure
New technologies
This year, the call will allocate a budget of $3,309,600,000 to the projects that are selected. Human persons may participate for a maximum amount of $2,000,000; legal, for a maximum of $30,000,000. They must have legal domicile in the City or, in case of not having it, the proposal must be developed without exception within the Buenos Aires territory.
