Fair launches call for galleries and art projects from all over the country
Source: LT10 – A new edition of the contemporary art fair of the city of Santa Fe is coming with national scope.
From August 8 to 22, registration will be open to participate in the fourth edition of +Feria. Arte Contemporáneo Santa Fe, the meeting space for gallery owners and artist collectives from all over the country, which aims to position the city as a meeting point between artists, curators, gallery owners and collectors from the local scene and from different parts of the country.
+Feria is the name of this innovative proposal that was established from the coastal region in the calendar of federal meetings. Together with Corrientes, Córdoba and Rosario, it shares the objective of generating more work for the visual arts sector, expanding its circulation among diverse audiences and improving the existing conditions for the commercialization of works and the formation of collections.
Recipients of the call
The call is addressed to:
Galleries or art projects from all over the country with a proven history of activity in the management and commercialization of works of art during the year 2023, and may register in the “Solo Show” format (curatorial proposal with a single artist) or “Group Show” (proposal with a maximum of three artists).
Artist collectives from the city and Metropolitan Area of Santa Fe (Ordinance No. 12,326) formed prior to or on the occasion of the Fair, understanding collectives as those groups of three or more artists who conceptually or materially link their practices/productions and who wish to market them.
Those who are related up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity with any of the members of the Jury or permanent or non-permanent staff, and senior authorities of the Municipality of Santa Fe, its decentralized agencies or autonomous entities, may not participate in this call.
Incentive and selection
Those projects that are selected with addresses outside the city of Santa Fe or the Metropolitan Area will receive a $100,000 incentive to finance their participation in the fair.
The selection jury is made up of: Architect José Luís Lorenzo and the Art Curator Daniel Ricardo Fischer; the Executive Director of Museums and Cultural Heritage, María Laura Martínez Spaggiari and Aimé Luna and Florencia Olmos, representatives of the Museum Directorate of the Municipality of Santa Fe.
