On Wednesday, March 19th, the renowned cultural center in Godoy Cruz will host an unforgettable evening.
Next Wednesday, March 19th, at 9:00 PM, the Cristoforo Colombo Artistic Heritage Center will open its doors for a special event: the Concert of Masters. The presentation, with free admission, will feature prestigious performers and professors from the Faculty of Arts and Design at UNCuyo, as part of the seventh edition of the Master's Program in Performance of 20th and 21st Century Latin American Music.
This show will be performed by professors in charge of the Performance and Chamber Music Seminars for this specialization. Among the musicians who will take the stage at the art gallery located at Tomba 246 (Godoy Cruz) are Beatriz Plana (flute), Nahuel Romero Paschero (guitar), Graciela Oddone (vocals), Elena Dabul and Fernando Viani (piano), and Nikolay Grózdev (cello).
The evening's repertoire will include pieces by renowned Latin American composers, such as Cergio Prudencio (Bolivia) and Antonio Lauro (Venezuela), as well as works by prominent Argentine composers such as Carlos Guastavino, Alberto Ginastera, Astor Piazzolla, Osvaldo Golijov, Graciela Giménez, and Polo Martí.
The event is organized by the Municipality of Godoy Cruz, in collaboration with the Research and Graduate Studies Department of the Faculty of Arts and Design of the UNCuyo University of Cuyo and the Master's Program in Performance of 20th and 21st Century Latin American Music.
It's worth noting that this master's program was recently evaluated and obtained the highest rating from Coneau, consolidating its position as an academic benchmark in the interpretation of Latin American music.
