Last days to visit the exhibition “The worlds of Tamayo. The creative wake”

It is Sunday, August 27, the last day that it is exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, in the Mexican capital

After a successful stay, since May, at the Museum of Fine Arts of the State of Mexico, the exhibition “The worlds of Tamayo. The creative wake”, is in its last days of exhibition.

This exhibition has received local, national and international public, who have admired the more than 200 works that make it up and enjoyed the interactive space that offers QR codes and background music.

With an impeccable curatorship, based on four thematic nuclei, he has managed to make visitors aware of part of the work of Rufino Tamayo.

Thanks to various public and private collections, it offers a tour that goes from an incipient Mexican School of Painting, through Modernity, the Vanguard, the Rupture, to the works of his outstanding contemporaries in Oaxaca.

Thus, thanks to the visitors it has received, the Museum has decided to open its doors from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so that more public visit it until Sunday August 27.

The Museum of Fine Arts is located at Santos Degollado #102, Col. Centro, Toluca, State of Mexico.

Access to the enclosure and guided tours, which are requested at the entrance, are free.
