Cultural activities 2025: Graffiti, music, theater and many new things for next year

Lima, December 30, 2024. 2025 promises to be a vibrant year for the cultural agenda, full of creativity, art and innovative expressions. Culture should not be missing any day of the year, since it is the pulse that connects us with our roots, inspires us to dream and invites us to reflect on the world we live in.

With that in mind, UPC Cultural, a space for the promotion, dissemination and discussion of art and culture of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), will continue its mission of bringing art to the community next year. To do so, it is preparing a varied program that includes theater, exhibitions, presentations, in addition to the production of digital programs, podcasts and the call for competitions to be a medium and an opportunity for the country's artists.

"We are happy with the results we have had this year and we are already planning what will be next year. We want to continue with our objective of disseminating and supporting art and culture in the country, creating meeting spaces that allow artists to show their work and the community to enjoy unique proposals,” says Michella Cumpa, cultural manager of UPC Cultural.

Among the highlights for next year are “Greengraff,” the Annual Congress of Latin American and urban art; the premiere of the digital programs “Blanca Varela” and “Videoconversa”; and the launch of the third Call for Support of Performing Arts and Music.

“Our purpose is to continue offering high-level content and support artistic initiatives, since we understand the fundamental value of art and, at the same time, the difficulties that artists face in carrying out their projects,” adds Cumpa.
