The 44th edition of ARCOmadrid, the most important contemporary art fair in Spain, will take place from March 5 to 9, 2025 in pavilions 7 and 9 of the IFEMA exhibition center. The first three days will be dedicated exclusively to professionals, and from 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, the event will open its doors to the general public.

This year, 214 galleries from 36 countries will participate, fostering an international dialogue between the Spanish, European and Latin American art scenes. Spanish representation will make up 33% of the offering, with 71 galleries, while the remaining 67%, or 143 galleries, will be foreign. Of these, a third will come from Latin America, with 46 galleries from 11 countries, mainly from Brazil and Argentina, consolidating ARCOmadrid as an Ibero-American reference in Europe.
More than 100,000 visitors

Last year, the fair attracted 95,000 visitors, and a similar or even higher number is expected for this edition. Among the attendees, there will be approximately 400 international collectors invited by the fair at the suggestion of the participating galleries, as well as nearly 200 professionals from the art world, including curators and museum directors, whose visit will also be facilitated by ARCOmadrid.
