Major art exhibition coming to Mosquera: schedule your visit

The Mayor's Office of Mosquera has inaugurated its 2025 exhibition program with two unmissable exhibitions by renowned Peruvian artist Lenin Auris: "Templos Colombianos" and "Mis Lecturas." These exhibitions, organized by the School of Plastic Arts of the Ministry of Culture, offer a deep exploration through the artist's work. Lenin Auris, a graduate of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, has developed an outstanding career in the artistic field, focusing on local issues. His work has been exhibited in various cultural spaces, including the Peruvian Japanese Cultural Center, where he presented the exhibition "Once Nikkei," paying tribute to the Japanese influence on Peruvian soccer. In "Templos Colombianos," Auris pays tribute to the architectural richness of temples in Colombia, capturing their essence and diversity. On the other hand, “My Readings” offers an introspective look through visual interpretations of his literary experiences, connecting the viewer with the emotions and reflections that reading inspires.

The exhibition takes place at the San Juan Bosco Municipal Library and will be open to the public until March 14. Visiting hours are:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

This is a unique opportunity to appreciate the talent of Lenin Auris and immerse yourself in an artistic experience that celebrates Latin American culture and art.
