Exhibition “Pintura Vingada”, by Delson Uchôa in Brazil

Exhibition features works by Délcio Uchôa that transit through the entire creative process of the artist. His work includes paintings and art objects with high scales and varied supports, such as fabric, leather, resin, rubber and canvas. It also includes photographs by Uchôa.

This is the last week to visit the exhibition “Pintura Vingada”, by contemporary Brazilian artist Delson Uchôa. Organized by the Oscar Niemeyer Museum, the exhibition will be on display until Sunday (20) in Room 1.



Curated by Moacir dos Anjos and jointly curated by Steve Coimbra, the exhibition presents works that transit through the artist's entire creative process. His work includes paintings and art objects with high scales and varied supports, such as fabric, leather, resin, rubber and canvas. It also includes photographs by the artist.



A member of the “Generation 80”, Uchôa brings together a bit of his extensive career in the exhibition, which includes passages in the Venice, São Paulo, Havana and Cairo biennials. His works are also part of the collections of several institutions, confirming the importance of his work.


ABOUT MON – The Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) is a state property linked to the State Secretariat for Culture. The institution houses important references of national and international artistic production in the areas of visual arts, architecture and design, in addition to great Asian and African collections. In total, the collection has approximately 14,000 works of art, housed in a space of more than 35,000 square meters of built area, which makes MON the largest art museum in Latin America.
