At the same time, another exhibition attracts the spectator's attention, focusing on Walmor Corrêa's work on birds, synapses and energetic herbs. The artist interested in the Amazonian flora and fauna develops a fascinating work, exhibiting 30 works made from the year 2000 to the present day.
Wrapped in scientific interest, Walmor ventures into reflections of nature with a subtle poetic content, science and art walk in different fields, but at crucial moments interpenetrate, shaping impactful and revealing visions. Artistic creation and scientific research have points in common, some measurements define paths that reach unimaginable spheres. In the series, cognitive mapping, drawings and comments based on faces and cranial maps of notable personalities such as Mario de Andrade, Clarice Lispector, Lupicinio Rodrigues, Grande Otelo, Villa Lobos and Clementina de Jesus, the set impresses the visitor, encouraging them to reflect on human behavior in an introspective dimension.
