International festival of arts and cultures opened in Nicaragua

Managua, Aug 5 (Prensa Latina) The International Festival of Arts, Cultures and Gastronomy of Our Peoples will open in Nicaragua with the presence of guests from over 40 countries.
Representatives from “Abkhazia, Angola, Bolivia, Cuba, Colombia, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Iran and Japan will participate in the two-day event at the Olof Palme Convention Center in this capital.



In addition to the host country, Libya, Palestine, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Korea, China, Russia, Venezuela, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica and Ecuador, among others from Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Organized by the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute (Intur) and other institutions, the event aims to promote unity among nations.

In the festival that is held every year, the invited nations present the best of their gastronomy with typical foods, while showing songs and traditional costumes, among other artistic manifestations.
