The project developed by the Territorial Management Area of the National Directorate of Culture has the purpose of exhibiting leading artists of the plastic and visual arts. All of the works to be exhibited belong to the collection of the National Museum of Visual Arts.

This museum institution enthusiastically joined this project from the beginning, since it is also an aspiration that is accentuated: that of collaborating with art museums and cultural spaces of all departments - without exception and not only in Montevideo - -, fulfilling its mission of contributing to the cultural development of the country by disseminating plastic and visual culture throughout the national territory.
