Pinta PArC returns with the best of contemporary art in its 11th edition at Casa Prado

A platform with more than 200 artists on display transforms Pinta PArC into the most attractive cultural event in the region.

Pinta PArC - Peru Contemporary Art - the most important art fair in the country returns for its 11th edition from April 24 to 28 at Casa Prado, located at Av. 28 de Julio 878, Miraflores. With the participation of 43 galleries from 20 cities around the world, this fair promises to be an unforgettable experience for all art lovers.

As we remember, Pinta PArC is the most attractive international cultural event in the region and a window to the essence of Peru that intertwines its historical richness with the most current influences of contemporary art.

“We celebrate diversity and innovation, providing a space to the world for Peruvian and international artists. We want to continue promoting cultural wealth and history through the different sections, talks, actions and activations that we will carry out in this new edition,” mentioned Diego Costa Peuser, Global Director of Pinta.

The Pinta PArC artistic program will have 3 sections: Main Section with a careful selection of galleries; NEXT with the presence of emerging artists and curated by Florencia Portocarrero and RADAR, the new section that invites artists to dialogue around current problems of contemporary art, curated by Florencia Battiti. At the same time, differential projects such as a Site specific curated by Giuliana Vidarte; Sculpture Garden curated by Max Hernández Calvo and Video-Project curated by Irene Gelfman. New this year, there will be a Special Project curated by Sharon Lerner, Director of the Lima Art Museum (MALI).

“This new edition of Pinta PArC has as its central theme the ancestral practices of the Latin American region. We propose a varied program carefully designed and supported by a group of prestigious professionals who enrich the sections by providing diverse curatorial perspectives.” Irene Gelfman, Artistic Director of Pinta.

As every year, in addition to the exhibition of contemporary art works, Pinta PArC will offer a series of special activities that will enrich the visitors' experience. These will include institutional exhibitions in the rooms of Casa Prado, talks and discussion panels with prominent artists, guided tours by art experts and workshops for the little ones in the house. With a diverse and stimulating program, Pinta PArC is consolidated as a space for meeting and cultural exchange that promotes dialogue and reflection around art and its impact on our lives.

In celebration of the entire artistic scene of the City of Lima, Pinta PArC will focus its attention on galleries, artists, collectors, curators, museums and institutions and will constitute a unique experience for its visitors demonstrating the variety of the artistic ecosystem of the region Its cultural program VIP will highlight the best of artistic production inside and outside the fair.

In the 2023 edition, Pinta PArC reached a new milestone by welcoming more than 50 thousand visitors and presenting works by more than 200 internationally renowned artists. This success reflects Pinta PArC's continued commitment to Latin American artistic excellence and the promotion of intercultural dialogue through contemporary art.

Pinta PArC is part of Pinta, the largest international platform for the promotion of Latin American art worldwide.
