Latin American Art Room of Cuban Fine Arts Museum Remodeled

(Prensa Latina) The remodeling of the Latin American and American Art Room of the National Museum of Fine Arts begins today, which will be temporarily closed to the visiting public, according to the institution located in the Cuban capital.

Located on the first floor of the Universal Art Building of this museum, it is made up of different centers belonging to the viceroyalties of New Spain, Peru, Alto Perú and New Granada.

It also includes a set of works produced in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Brazil between the 17th and 19th centuries, as well as a significant number of pieces of North American plastic arts.

The National Museum of Fine Arts, through its social networks, apologizes for this temporary closure and states that in the following weeks it will share information about the progress of the remodeling and the future opening of the room.
