The "Dialogues between philosophy and Latin American art" meeting will take place this Thursday, on the occasion of a new anniversary of the last day of freedom of the indigenous peoples. According to the organizers, there will be "questions, images and sounds in our America" ​​and the entrance will be a non-perishable food.

The proposal will take place on Thursday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Emilio Alfaro Theater Café of the Auditorium Theater, where members of the Adolfo Ábalos Art Teachers Institute, Iván Cotleroff and Emiliano Rodríguez, from the Martín Malharro School of Visual Arts, Javier Bertine and Rabiacuir, and the Research Groups "Philosophies from the South", Nora Bustos and Jazmín Bregante and "Collective Aesthetics", Romina Conti, will participate; from the Philosophy majors at the National University of Mar del Plata.

In a conversation open to the public and crossed by different materialities that include words, thoughts, music and images, the opening of a set of questions is proposed that allow us to question the meaning of the relationships between art and philosophy in the current Latin American context and to collectively explore the fertility of their contributions.

The activity is part of the programming of the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires and admission will be with the contribution of a non-perishable food item that will be destined for the city's soup kitchens.
