The world's best iPhone photos have been announced by the 16th Annual iPhone Photography Awards, the IppAwards. Brazilian photographer Adriano Mendes de Carvalho took third place in the “people” category. He photographed an elderly man in Buenos Aires and named him “Lord of the Wind”. It was taken with an iPhone XS.

“What a happiness to be one of the winners of this very disputed contest from @apple. @ippawards is the biggest contest in the world in this category and I am in this edition as the only Brazilian awarded. Gratitude to everyone who believes in my work”, celebrated Adriano.
