ARTBO 2024: Two decades promoting Latin American art

The Bogotá Chamber of Commerce has announced the list of galleries that will participate in the next edition of ARTBO | Bogotá International Art Fair, which will take place from September 26 to 29 at the Ágora Bogotá Convention Center. This event, one of the most important in the Latin American art scene, celebrates two decades of support and innovation in the cultural sector.

Over the course of 20 years, ARTBO has played a fundamental role in the economic and cultural development of Bogotá, contributing to the growth of artists, curators and galleries, both nationally and internationally. In the 2024 edition, several sections will be presented that cover different approaches and perspectives of contemporary art, such as the Main Section, References, Projects, Site, Artecámara, Encounters and Artist Book.
Diversity and quality in participating galleries

This year, ARTBO will feature the participation of galleries from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and other countries such as Germany, France, Spain, and the United States. Among the most notable, Ruth Benzacar (Argentina) will present an innovative queer proposal inspired by Latin American baroque imagery, while Aninat (Chile) will offer a space for reflection on contemporary art. Klemm’s (Germany) and 193 Gallery (France) will also provide a global vision, focused on emerging identities.
Colombian talent

Colombia will be represented by important galleries such as Instituto de Visión, which will exhibit works focused on ancestral knowledge about botany and cosmogony, and Espacio Continuo, with proposals that reflect on everyday life and the human experience. In addition, León Tovar Gallery and Mor Charpentier will present works that explore universal and avant-garde themes of Latin American art.

Among the national galleries that will participate are Adrián Ibáñez Galería, Beatriz Esguerra Arte, Casa Hoffmann, Casas Riegner, Espacio El Dorado, and other prominent exponents of the Colombian art scene.
International participation

The fair will also feature the presence of important international galleries such as AM Galería (Brazil), Henrique Faria New York (United States), Lucy García Gallery (Dominican Republic), and Vermelho (Brazil), among many others. These galleries will bring proposals that connect the local with the global, highlighting the diversity and richness of contemporary art.

ARTBO has established itself as an essential space for commercial and cultural exchange, with a proposal that combines quality, diversity and professionalism.
