Luis Maluf Art Gallery is present at ZonaMACO

Luis Maluf Galeria de Arte participates for the first time in ZonaMACO, one of the largest international art fairs, which takes place from February 7th to 11th in Mexico City, capital of Mexico. The gallery has a 40m² stand and is located in the main section, the largest segment of the fair that presents works by the most influential contemporary artists on the global scene from renowned galleries around the world, such as New York, Madrid, London, Miami, Berlin, Stockholm, Milan and others.

With 38 works in total by artists Bu'ú Kennedy, Edu Silva and Janet Vollebregt, three important artists represented by the Brazilian gallery, Luis Maluf Galeria de Arte has different origins, but together they create power and representation, transforming the space into an epicenter to explore contemporary artistic expressions and establish meaningful connections on the international cultural scene.

Gallerist Luis Maluf says it is a special moment in the gallery's history. “By joining this landmark event, the gallery reinforces its commitment to promoting artistic innovation and building cultural bridges. We look forward to the opportunity to share the unique vision of Edu Silva, Bu’ú Kennedy and Janet Vollebregt, while contributing to the global dialogue on contemporary art.” In this edition, in which the fair celebrates 20 years, there will be more than 200 galleries representing 25 countries, solidifying its position as the most significant art fair in Latin America.
Galeria Luis Maluf and Usina Luis Maluf | Founded in 2014, Luis Maluf Galeria de Arte presents itself as a space to encourage and promote contemporary art. Its history is mixed with that of its founder, the Gallery's namesake. Luis Maluf has been working in the market for over ten years and positions himself as an observer of the artistic scene, developing cultural projects, exhibitions and actions in the online and offline world. In June 2021, the Usina Luis Maluf emerged as a space to promote and encourage artistic production in the Barra Funda region, which has artistic training and access to art as its main pillars, considering itself a space for construction, debate and access to the plurality of Brazilian culture.
