Oscar Niemeyer Museum will open normally on the long holiday of Semana da Pátria

Visiting hours are from 10 am to 6 pm, with access allowed until 5:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the physical box office or remotely.




The Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) will operate normally on the 7th of September (Thursday) and also on the 8th (Friday), a public holiday in Curitiba. Visiting hours are from 10 am to 6 pm, with access allowed until 5:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the physical box office or remotely HERE.

The exhibitions currently on display are: “Buraco no Céu”, by Túlio Pinto; “Sou Patrono”, “Perpetual Movement”, by Norma Grinberg; “Africa: Dialogues with the Contemporary”, “Asia: the Land, the Men, the Gods – Colonialism”, “Sounds of Bispo do Rosário”, “Tela”, by Leila Pugnaloni, “The Magical World of the Ningyos”, “Serguei Eisenstein and the World” and “Poty, Between Two Worlds”, in addition to the “Sculpture Courtyard”, “Niemeyer Space” and “MON Sem Paredes”.

The Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) is a state property linked to the State Secretariat for Culture. The institution houses important references of national and international artistic production in the areas of visual arts, architecture and design, in addition to great Asian and African collections. In total, the collection has approximately 14,000 works of art, housed in a space of more than 35,000 square meters of built area, which makes MON the largest art museum in Latin America.
