The Ralli Museum in Punta del Este celebrates 37 years of enriching the Uruguayan cultural panorama
On Wednesday, January 8, the Ralli Museum commemorated its 37 years of existence with an event that brought together authorities, prominent figures from the world of culture and art-loving public. Founded by Mr. Harry (1919 - 2011) and Dr. Martine Recanati (1940 - 2006), the museum has been a reference for decades in the dissemination of Latin American and European art in Uruguay.
The celebration of the 37th anniversary of the Ralli Museum in Punta del Este was headed by its director Virginia Serrana Prunell, and was marked by the inauguration of the exhibition “Rococó: Jewels of the 18th Century”, curated by the outstanding Gabriella Siccardi Pissano, which presents a selection of masterpieces belonging to the Ralli Foundation.
The music of the Maldonado String Chamber Orchestra and the soprano María José Bardano, together with the elegant surroundings of the Patio Andaluz, created a magical atmosphere that captivated all those present, among whom was the Director General of Culture of the Municipality of Maldonado, Jorge Céspedes.
The Ralli Museum extends the invitation to all art lovers to visit the exhibition “Rococó: Jewels of the 18th Century” and to enjoy the various activities that will take place throughout the year that is beginning.
