The Mirador Cultural Center, in its effort to promote the country's art, presents on this occasion its exhibition: 'Latin America is Art', a proposal that includes several contemporary languages and, due to the forcefulness of its works, will remain open until May 15. at the usual hours of this exhibition space in the Dominican capital.
The collective of participating artists, 11 in total, is composed or formulated by Raphael Díaz, Kamil Bullaundy Rodríguez, Arian García, Daniel Manta, Nilton Cárdenas, Wayni Healy, José Sejo, Willy Pérez, Miguel Gómez, Lissette Mejía and Marcia Guerrero, from from several Latin American countries, such as: Cuba, Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic. This excellent exhibition brings together a selection of 30 works of varied dimensions, which in their harmonious whole present diverse techniques, language and supports of great variety, with creative formulations that make their execution more innovative by applying oil, acrylic and collage.
His artistic imprint is focused in some pieces on social, cultural, identity, ecological, ideological, intimate, poetic, aesthetic and existential themes.
The collective's exhibition has as its starting point the Mirador Cultural Center, through a cultural exchange that is born from the friendship and effort of several artists. Each one of them is a proponent of a particular discourse that is born from their inner universe.
