Comic Strip & Poetry Contest – Submission Guidelines

1 | Standard: The comic strip must seamlessly integrate visual elements and poetry, ensuring that the narrative unfolds through the complementary connection between image and poetic text. The drawings should effectively convey the atmosphere and emotion of the story, while the poetry should add depth and meaning. The poetic text may take different forms, such as free verse, as long as it remains coherent with the illustration.

2 | Eligibility: Open to all authors aged 18 and over.

3 | Language: Submissions must be in Portuguese or English.

4 | Submission Requirements:

• Comic strips must consist of 12 original and unpublished pages.

• Each page should contain only one vignette.

• The artwork must be presented in black and white.

5 | Format: The pages must be in A5 size (148 x 210 mm).

6 | Numbering: Each of the four submitted pages must be numbered.

7 | Submission Deadline: 31 December 2025.

8 | File Specifications & Submission:

• Format: JPG, 300 dpi
