19th International Exhibition of Satirical Graphics “Bucovina” – 2025, Romania

 

The National Museum of Bucovina invites professional and amateur cartoonists worldwide to participate in the 19th edition of the International Exhibition of Satirical Graphics “Bucovina,” held in 2025 in Romania.

 

Competition Theme: “The Electric Car”

 

Artists are invited to submit original satirical artworks based on this year’s theme.

 

Important Dates

 

Deadline for Submission: May 31, 2025

Results Announcement: Early June 2025

Deadline for Sending Original Awarded Works: June 30, 2025

Exhibition Opening: July 25, 2025

 

Participation Rules

 

Open to all professional and amateur cartoonists over the age of 18, from any country.

Each participant can submit up to 5 cartoons.

 

Artwork specifications:

• Resolution: 300 dpi (maximum file size: 2MB)

• Format: Maximum A3 size

• Technique: Black & white or color

• Submission: Digital format only

Prizes & Awards

 

Bucovina Prize: €500 + Diploma

1st Prize: €400 + Diploma

2nd Prize: €300 + Diploma

3rd Prize: €200 + Diploma

5 Honorable Mentions: Diplomas

 

Winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes must send the original artworks by June 30, 2025, to the following address:

Additional Information

 

All selected artists will receive a printed catalog of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be showcased at the National Museum of Bucovina, and all related updates will be published on the official website.
