1. General Conditions of Participation
The competition is open to professional graphic designers, art school students, and graphic producers worldwide, aged 18 and over.
Each participant may submit up to three posters that they consider the best among their artistic works, created between 2021 and 2024.
2. Competition Themes
• Open Poster: This category allows designers to express their creativity and artistic style without thematic restrictions. Posters can reflect personal opinions, social issues, or cultural phenomena.
• Eco Poster: This category focuses on the urgency of environmental issues caused by global warming, such as fires, extreme rainfall, droughts, floods, and tornadoes. The goal is to raise awareness and inspire ecological action.
3. Submission Requirements
Participants must submit:
1. One printed copy of each poster in B1 format (700×1000 mm) with a marked registration label (Download Here).
2. A completed registration form (Download Here).
3. A digital version of the poster sent via email to pqb@pqb.sk in JPG format – 21x30 cm – 300 dpi – RGB.
The submission deadline is March 31, 2025. The last accepted submissions must have this date stamped on the postmark.
4. Sending Posters
Posters must be marked on the back in the bottom right corner with a registration label, filled in block letters in English or Slovak.
The posters should be unfolded, properly secured to prevent damage during transport, and sent to:

The organizer does not cover expenses related to customs clearance, is not responsible for late deliveries or damage during transport. Shipments must be marked as “Printed Matter of Non-Commercial Value”.
5. Evaluation of Works
All submitted posters will be evaluated by a jury of seven members. The jury’s decision is final.

• 🎖️ 15 × Honorable Mentions
7. Special Provisions
• The organizer reserves the right to reject posters that the jury deems offensive to morality, cultural values of any nation, or those not meeting competition requirements.
• The organizer has the right to exhibit and publish selected works for non-commercial purposes.
• By signing the registration form, the author agrees to the competition terms.
• All submitted and awarded posters will be published in a collective catalog.
• Accepted works will not be returned to participants, as they will remain archived at the Poster Quadrennial Bardejov.
8. Validity of the Statute
These competition regulations apply to the year 2025.
