Olive Theme:

Free Theme:
- Artists are free to choose any subject for their cartoons.

Participation Rules:

Open to all amateur and professional cartoonists worldwide, aged 18 and above.
All submissions must be in black and white only, with black lines on a white background. No grayscale shading is allowed.
Cartoons must be in cartoon style (no paintings or illustrations) and without text. Logos and symbols are permitted, but no brand names or product names should appear.
Cartoons must be original (previously published works are accepted if they haven’t won awards).
Submission size: A4 or A3 format.
Each participant must provide their name, surname, address, phone number, and email on the back of the artwork. A photo and short CV must also be included.
AI-generated cartoons are not accepted. If discovered, awarded works will be disqualified.
Multiple submissions are allowed; however, each participant can win only one prize per category.
Cartoons should be sent by regular or insured mail (hand delivery is not accepted).
Submitted works will not be returned and will be archived in the International Cyprus Cartoon Museum.
Selected works may be published in an album and exhibited as part of the 24th International Olive Festival 2025.
Contest results will be announced to all participants and the media.
The Kyrenia Municipality and Cyprus Turkish Cartoonists Association reserve the right to use submitted works for exhibitions, publications, social media, and promotional purposes without financial compensation.
Participation in the contest implies agreement to all terms and conditions.

1st Prize: €800 + Golden Olive Statue + Flight ticket & accommodation for 1 person.
2nd Prize: €500 + Silver Olive Statue + Flight ticket & accommodation for 1 person.
3rd Prize: €300 + Bronze Olive Statue + Flight ticket & accommodation for 1 person.
Special Prizes for 10 to 20 cartoonists.
