The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cuba , the National Council of Plastic Arts (CNAP) and the magazine La Jiribilla are pleased to invite artists, illustrators, caricaturists and comedians from around the world to participate in the I International Humor Biennial Political to be held between June 1 and 30, 2024.
This event seeks to explore in a playful way the impact of globalization and the phenomena
associated with it, from a political humor perspective. The topic in this edition will be directed to the
fight against neofascism.

The attached files must be delivered in JPG format, with a resolution of 300 dpi and no less than 2400 pixels on the longest side. The files must be identified with the author's name and must include the following data:

The selected works will be printed and exhibited in the main exhibition and collateral exhibitions.
They may be published in the promotional materials and catalogs of the Biennial, always mentioning the author and respecting the rights of
intellectual property.
The deadline for receiving works is February 28, 2024.
An international jury will award an Honor Award to an international comedy personality
graphic, consisting of accrediting diploma and work of art. Additionally, a first, second and
third prizes selected by the jury, whose decision will be final.
A large international exhibition will be held that will bring together the most outstanding and representative works,
selected by a group of specialists, who address the topic in question from a perspective
humorous and critical. In addition, collateral exhibitions of national artists and artists will be held.

In addition to the central activities, a theoretical event will be held where problems are addressed
related to the work of graphic comedians in general and, in particular, linked to the
proposed topic.
