COMPETITION DETAILS

• Competition Name: DIOGENES OF SINOPE 4TH INTERNATIONAL CARTOON COMPETITION

• Deadline for Submission: May 19, 2025

• Theme: Environment

The competition focuses on the environmental crisis caused by industrialization, unregulated waste disposal, deforestation, and pollution. The aim is to highlight the urgent need for environmental conservation and to promote sustainable living through creative and impactful cartoons.

Artists are encouraged to raise awareness about environmental destruction and contribute to the global movement for a “Livable Environment.”

🎨 ELIGIBILITY & RULES

1. Open to all amateur and professional artists worldwide.

2. Technique: Freehand; however, AI-generated works are NOT accepted.

3. Originality: The artworks must be original and should not have won any previous awards.

4. Submission Format:

• Maximum A3 size (29.7 cm x 42 cm)

• 300 dpi resolution

• JPG format

5. Number of Submissions: Unlimited, but each artist can win only one prize.

6. Certificate: A digital participation certificate will be awarded to all participants.

7. Copyright:

• Submitted cartoons may be used for non-commercial purposes (e.g., exhibitions, books, calendars, online publications) by the organizing institutions.

• All other rights remain with the artists.

🏆 PRIZES

• Grand Prize: 15,000 TL + Plaque

• 4 Success Awards: 2,500 TL each + Plaque

• Special Awards: Various institutions will present additional plaques.
