Darío Castillejos

Darío Castillejos is a Mexican cartoonist and illustrator. He is president of the “Carton Club” and a contributor to the newspaper “El Imparcial” from Oaxaca. Awards Castillejos has received several awards and Honorable Mentions, including: • Oaxaca Journalism Award, the National Journalism Award - Mexico. • Gilberto Rincón Gallardo Faces of Discrimination Award - Mexico. • Honorable mention at the Piracicaba International Humor Festival - Brazil. • Honorable Mention at the Sinaloa Humor Festival - Mexico. In 2009, he was part of "Cartooning for Reconciliation", a project of the Parent's Circle Forum to promote peace between Israel and Palestine. His published books include “El bestiario político del Almohadazo” and “Impressions of a blurred world” (Mexico).
