Adán Iglesias Toledo was born on September 9, 1965 in the city of Havana, Cuba. He studied at the Faculty of Artistic Education and has a degree in Plastic Education. He is an editorial cartoonist for the newspaper “Juventud Rebelde” and is the director of the graphic humor supplement “Dedete”. Since January 2009, he has directed the graphic humor section of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). He is also an editorial cartoonist for the Arabic satellite channel “Al Mayadeen”, in Spanish. Likewise, he makes live cartoons on Cuban television in the television program “Mesa Redonda”. He publishes weekly in the digital magazine "Nación y Emigración", dedicated to the Cuban diaspora, from the publishing house "Prensa Latina". organizations • Member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). • Member of the Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC). • Member of the Visual Authors Agency (ADAVIS).
