Jean Galvão is a Brazilian cartoonist, designer and cartoonist. He is a member of the Brazilian Illustrators Society. He was born in Cruzeiro in 1972, he began his career at the age of 18 drawing for union newsletters. In 1993 he was hired as a cartoonist by the “Valeparaibano” newspaper, from São José dos Campos. He currently makes drawings and strips for the magazine "Recreio" (Animatiras), for the Editora "Abril", and for the magazine "Runners". Since 1999 he has been publishing political cartoons on page 2 of the newspaper “Folha de S. Paulo”, where he shares space with his colleagues Angeli, Benett and João Montanaro. Making children's humor is one of his great passions and, therefore, he plans to publish his own children's book. “Grandma Grandma” is an old lady without the stereotypical humor used for older people in cartoons and TV commercials. They tend to be "Cocoon" style, energetic, fun and even modern. She is a grandmother full of faith, pain, loneliness, worries, affection and innocence.
