Rita Gould also known as Margarita Galkina is a Russian-born watercolour artist, graphic designer, illustrator, wife, and mother of one based in Staffordshire, UK. Her watercolour and gouache illustrations are hand-drawn and show her immense love and passion for nature. She inspired by moths, plants, butterflies, gardens, childhood memories and many more. Rita’s illustrations are full of intricate details, colour and texture. She brings all her passion into creating nature-themed stationary products like calendars, notepads, postcards, greeting cards, stickers and art prints. Before persevering her art career, she worked in the publishing house, IT-sector, web design agency creating designs and illustrations for various clients. When Rita is not painting, you can find her spending time with her family, gardening, walking in the woods, looking after her animals (chickens, gecko, a dog, a cat), or in museums, historical houses and vintage market
