Nikola Otas

He was born in Deliblato, Serbia in 1960. He lived and worked in Belgrade. He attended the naval military technical high school and was a submarine officer. In Split, he studied at the Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Philosophy. He had offers to publish his caricatures since 1980. In addition to cartoons, he worked with illustration and caricature sculpture. He participated in numerous festivals and won numerous awards and was a member of the Union of Applied Artists of Serbia and vice-president of FECO Serbia. He died in Belgrade on November 22 after a brief illness. We will remember him for his spirit and his very funny and positive cartoons.
