Gilbert Daroy is an award-winning political cartoonist and cartoonist (UN-Lurie Awards, International Editorial Caricature Award, Society of Asian Editors) for the “Philippine Daily Inquirer” for the past 9 years. Before that, he was a senior animator working for “Walt Disney Television” and “Warner Bros” and created an animated short “Transmutation” that won a Gawad CCP Award. He is currently a regular contributor to FHM magazine and contributing editor to “Esquire Magazine”; In addition, he has illustrated a children's book. In 2011, he won his second Catholic Mass Media Awards for Best Editorial Caricaturist.
