Born in 1976 in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Marcio Leite began his career in the 1990s, publishing cartoons, comics, and comic strips in the press at the age of 16. In 2002, he collaborated with the newspaper "Opasquim21," founded by the renowned cartoonist and writer Ziraldo. That same year, he started participating in humor exhibitions and has since received numerous awards in national and international competitions. In 2007, Leite founded "Brasil Cartoon," a platform dedicated to Brazilian cartoon art. By 2012, he opened his first art gallery and shifted his focus towards painting, achieving over R$ 1 million in art sales. Leite holds a degree in social communication and specializes in marketing consultancy. Since 2017, he has resided and worked in Belo Horizonte.
