Olga Melekh (Melexo), formally known as Olga Tsygankova, is an illustrator, designer and author of an array of short humorous stories, including children’s fairy tales in verse. The amusing narratives in Olga’s compositions often take on the feel of a caricature regardless of their theme. Beneath the surface of these likenesses that garner a chuckle, though, is often a subtler meaning that can push the viewer of Olga’s work to consider another perspective. As a result, Olga’s illustrations present both a desire to preserve the airiness of space as well as a confident stroke that echoes the spark of a novel thought. Based in St. Petersburg, Russia, Olga Melekh enjoyed a rich artistic experience during her art school years. Since graduating, Olga fully embraced the potential of digital art to refine her unique visual aesthetic.
